My Interest is lower than last month
Your interest will vary from month to month due to two factors:
1. The interest rate is variable. This is because the blended interest rate you receive changes as loans come to the end of their term ('mature') and your money is reinvested into new loans with different interest rates.
2. You will only receive interest on the funds invested in the loans which are performing as expected. This won't include interest from loans that are non-performing. If your money has been allocated to loans that become non-performing, you will not receive the interest accrued on these loans until they have recovered or are repaid.
